Pastor: Ahren Reiter
Bible History: Old Testament
Youth confirmation (catechesis) classes for the 2025-2026 school year begin August 24th. This year, students are focusing on the Old Testament, taking a deeper dive into 57 individual stories that span the Creation account through the Exile. In addition, they will memorize several parts of the Small Catechism, including the Ten Commandments, Apostles' Creed, and Lord's Prayer with explanations; and numerous Bible verses. The goal is that they will increase in faith, enhance their knowledge and understanding of God’s word, and be instilled with a lifelong faithfulness to Jesus Christ.
As Jesus Himself said, "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me," (John 5:39).
On weeks when there is a midweek service, students are invited to join the Fellowship Dinner at 6:00 p.m. and attend the service at 7:00 p.m.
