Wednesday Bible Study

Holy Cross’ Wednesday Bible Study meets each week at 6:00 p.m., after a fellowship dinner at 5:00 p.m.

Our series this fall, running from September through late November 2026, will focus on apologetics. We’ll learn how to answer questions that people may have about the faith, and how to defend our faith intelligently. Our study will primarily use the 30-Lesson Apologetics Study (see a sample here), available from CPH here. Please contact the church office if you need help ordering or if you’d like to order if/when we do another group purchase.

Current Class and Dinner Schedule (this may be adapted slightly month to month, so please check back occasionally):

* For dinner, please bring a main dish, side, or dessert to share. If you're joining us as a guest (non-member of Holy Cross), dinner is on us! Our themes are generously interpreted, so if you can't make something for that theme, just bring whatever sounds good!

† Missionaries to Tanzania, Brian and Keah Payne, with their family, will be presenting on the work that they have been doing.

‡ These two sessions pick up on a question we left hanging at the end of our Spring 2026 semester: How did the office of the ministry develop from 12 hand-selected Apostles during Jesus earthly life to the office of pastor? And, closely related: Who can rightly claim the authority to carry on the ministry and work of Jesus in the Church?
